Every building in Detroit has a story — we're here to share it

Globe Tobacco Building - Photos

In 1984 the building was rehabilitated into an energy-efficient office building which also included cutting a glass atrium through the building's core, to allow a view of its framework and its skylight in a dramatic vertical space.

The building had numerous tenants after the Globe Tobacco Company closed in 1925.
