McKim, Mead & White

It is considered one of the most prominent American architectural firms. The firm was known for its Beaux Arts beauties, including many gems in New York, such as Madison Square Garden. In Detroit, the firm designed the People's State Bank (later known as the State Savings Bank) on Fort Street and helped with the interiors on the original Hotel Pontchartrain.
