Richard E. Raseman

Architect had a hand in designing the Grand Army of the Republic Building, the Municipal Court Building, Trumbull United Presbyterian Church, the Harmonie Club, Shed No. 2 in Eastern Market and the Cary Building. Noted for his use of heavy stone and fondness for Richardsonian Romanesque-inspired designs. He died in Detroit on Jan. 13, 1944, at age 89.
