The Erving H. Taylor House at 150 Virginia Park Street was designed by George V. Pottle for Erving H. Taylor and built in 1908. The early 20th-century residence features a broad, low-pitched hipped roof, wide overhanging eaves, brick construction, and a prominent central entrance, reflecting the period's Prairie-style influences in some of the homes built in Detroit. The house is part of the Virginia Park Historic District, one of Detroit's notable historic residential neighborhoods.
