The Harry B. Earhart House at 657 Virginia Park Street was designed by George V. Pottle for Harry B. Earhart and built in 1910. Earhart was a prominent Detroit businessman and philanthropist associated with the White Star Refining Company and later the Earhart Foundation.

The early 20th-century residence is part of the Virginia Park Historic District. Its later history includes use as an Episcopal residence in the 1920s and, by the early 1970s, as the Wayne State University chapter house of Delta Sigma Pi. The house remains an important part of Virginia Park's collection of architect-designed residences.
