Historic Detroit

Every building in Detroit has a story — we're here to share it

Howard A. Fisher Home

Howard Fisher (1902–1942), the youngest of the Fisher brothers, was just under two years old when his brothers Charles and Frederick relocated to Detroit. This 2,800-square-foot, five-bedroom home in Detroit's University District pales in comparison to the grandeur of his siblings' residences.

Although Howard Fisher never directly worked for the automotive company, he played a role in the firm responsible for managing the company's shared financial interests. At the time of his passing in 1942 at the age of 40, Howard resided in this Wildemere residence.
