The James S. Heaton House, located at 228 Eliot St. in Detroit’s Brush Park Historic District, was designed by the prominent architectural firm Donaldson & Meier and completed in 1908. On Jan. 23, 1980, the property was officially designated as part of the Brush Park Local Historic District, recognizing its architectural and historical significance.
