Historic Detroit

Every building in Detroit has a story — we're here to share it

Paul Revere Hotel

The Paul Revere Hotel was actually two separate hotels that were merged into one.

The first Revere opened in June 1924, and it was soon joined by the Stratford Arms, which initially operated as a separate hotel, though the two were connected and shared dining facilities.

Before long, the Stratford name was dropped, and the two operated as the Paul Revere Hotel.

A demolition permit was issued March 4, 1983.

More on this building coming soon.
