“Combining all the conveniences of a town house with the refreshing pleasures of the country, Whitmore Plaza, in the beautiful residence district of Palmer park, is in the center of everything that makes life worthwhile” read the advertisement by Green Management Company when the building opened on Oct. 1, 1928.

This stunning Art Deco building, featuring Moorish Revival influences, is part of the National Register of Historic Places' Palmer Park Apartment Building Historic District.

The building was completely vacated in August 2024.
