Every building in Detroit has a story — we're here to share it

William A. Butler House

Built in 1882–1883 for banker Frederick (or William) Butler , 291 Edmund Place is a 8,400-square-foot French Renaissance Second Empire mansion located in Detroit's historic Brush Park. After falling into disrepair, this former "Millionaire's Row" home was restored and converted into four luxury condominiums in the mid 2000s, featuring high ceilings, exposed brick, and original architectural details.
