Book Tower and Building - Artifacts

On the morning of Dec. 14, 1973 Sarah Watson Leisen, a 30-year-old Detroiter, leaped from a 13th-floor window in the tower and took her life - as well as that of a man she landed on.

The new 81-story Book Tower which was designed to be the tallest building in the world at the time.
