The most beautiful feature of the Congress Street facade is the stunning 3-story arched window, framed by vibrant Pewabic tilework. This photo captures the rich patterns on the jambs and the reflection of the Qube Building. The rounded edges of the jambs echo the soft curves found throughout the building, like the Banking Lobby’s ceiling and the Griswold entrance dome. The detailed tilework features repeating symbols: a beehive (thrift), a caduceus or fasces (authority), and an eagle (money) - May 25, 2025
