Sheba hits the beach with some of her friends.
A parade is thrown for Sheba as she arrives in Detroit on June 16, 1923. The parade wound up Third Avenue from the Detroit & Cleveland Navigation Co. docks to Lafayette Boulevard past the Detroit News Building and then on to Old City Hall, where the elephant was officially welcomed to the city by Councilmember John C. Lodge.
